Mercedes introduce the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 at 2014 Paris Auto Show and the car comes as the latest remodel of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class luxury sedan. The new C63 is available with the AMG performance wing and a V8 twin-turbo replaces usual four- and six-cylinder powerplant. To manage the immense rise in power, there are upgrades to the standard brake, suspension, and frame. The C63 start on sale as a sedan only in March of 2015 in Mercedes-Benz showrooms. After the reformatted C-Class coupe coming out later in the year, a two-door version is expected to arrive. Expect the 2015 C63 will cost around $65,000 range although there is no official appraising has been out yet.
Engines and Transmissions
A hand-made twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 unit provides power for Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S models. The unit in the C63 can generate 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque while the C63 S unit boosts 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The two is connected to a seven-speed automatic that connect the standard rear-wheel drive and likely a 4Matic all-wheel-drive model.
Body Styles and Trim Levels
The C63 and a stronger C63 S are the two variants of the new Mercedes-AMG C63. While other regions may be offered a wagon version, the U.S. market will be offered in the sedan and probable a coupe. Standard C-Class options are typically available in earlier AMG models with optional performance and facelift. The 2015 C63 is expected to follow outfit. The Mercedes C63 will most likely get standard and optional pieces set up in other Mercedes cars in addition to the customary assigned safety features. There will be lane keeping support, frontal impact caution and intrusion, blind-spot monitors and driver stupor sensor.
The Mercedes C-Class is known to be the closest rival to the Audi A4 and S4 but those models are weaker to the C63’s power output. the Audi S6 sedan is the most competitive rival to the Mercedes-AMG C63 yet is still at a power handicap and more expensive. The BMW M3 establishes the typical sport sedan and will also be reformatted for 2015 model. The M3 will convey similar or superior excitements for the driver although power output will be expected not as much as the C63. The Supercharged Jaguar XF is bigger and luxurious than the C63 making it a noticeably British take on the sport sedan. At substantial price, there is more prominence on performance with the more costly XFR and XFR-S models.
