2016 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD First Look
The first look of 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD will begin from the revised front-end because we have seen this part is totally different from the predecessors. There are three main parts which are revised by Chevy. They are headlights, running lights and taillights. From the front fascia, the headlights are featured by projector-beam headlights now. This is understandable due the modern system for those headlights. Meanwhile, the LED daytime feature will modify the current running lights of Equinox.
This is also featured for LT model besides of LTZ model. Lastly, the rear fascia has new taillight designs obviously. Those main revisions of Equinox are not enough based on reviewers’ overview. Going to the interior, we found new-cloth for the upholstery.Perhaps, this is not new. But, it is the upgraded version from the previous cloth of upholstery. On the dash, we found a new seven inches touchscreen which becomes the plus point for the new Equinox.
For your information, there is also a rearview camera on the touchscreen. Chevrolet claims that all trims have these features on the cabin. We added another plus point on the dashboard because Chevy gives use a new shelf as the storage. Moreover, they improve the control graphics in order to make the driver feels easier to manage their profile.

As we said before, the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD has been already released in the end of 2015. The exact date was on fall 2015. There are four trims available, L, LS, LT and LTZ. For the LTZ powertrain, Chevy offers us a 2.4 L four-cylinder engines. You can upgrade it into 3.6 L V6 because LTZ is the highest trim in the Equinox’s class. It has 6-speed automatic transmission which supports the all-wheel drive system as same as our title today. The base engine only produces 182 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the higher engine is able to pump out 301 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque.
2016 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD Price
The latest price that we found on the official Chevrolet’s site, 2016 Equinox has been set at $23,495 as the base price. The 2.4 L engine has accelerated 0-60 mph almost for ten seconds. Otherwise, the 3.6 L V6 is able to run for seven seconds in reaching 60 mph. Both of engines also have different EPA ratings. As we can predict the smaller engine has 23 mpg combined. Meanwhile, the higher engine has 20 mpg combined. In other words, the V6 is not efficient for lower MPG.
